RUSH, a 42-meter Baglietto boat, takes to the water.

For the first time, the 42-meter Baglietto yacht RUSH has taken to the sea in a celebration of speed, high performance, and power. Last Saturday, the tri-engine boat was launched at the La Spezia factory in Italy. The planing hull aluminum boat has thin lines and a modern, aggressive appearance, which her owner reflected in the name RUSH.

With her wide use of glass surfaces on numerous levels and her dark grey hull, RUSH is a striking yacht with a very contemporary outward look. Her tiny hard top superstructure also contributes to her appealing, sophisticated appearance. Plana Design concentrated on RUSH’s extraordinary speed when designing her.

RUSH is powered by three MTU 16V 2000 M96 L engines, which can propel her to a top speed of 28 knots. She also has a VOITH linear jet center drive and two typical shaft line exterior drives.

RUSH has a short draft of 2.10 meters, allowing her to cruise in shallow water with ease and pleasure. Her stern has novel design solutions, such as a transom door that opens downwards to offer a comfortable water swimming platform. The beach club is also equipped with sofas and a side entrance, making it simple to launch and haul the tender.

The interior of the RUSH is conventional, with four nice staterooms. A full-beam master stateroom with a large ensuite bathroom and a spacious walk-in wardrobe is positioned aft on the main deck. The lower deck has two double VIP cabins and two twin staterooms for additional guest accommodations. RUSH’s The captain’s cabin, a dinette, and three bunk-bed cabins are all located on this deck.

A lounge and alfresco eating space greet guests as they board the yacht, with the wheelhouse on the upper deck. RUSH includes a huge skylounge where visitors can relax and watch movies, as well as a theater area. RUSH has two sunbathing places, one at the stern and one at the bow, both with plenty of seats and sunpads.

In September, RUSH will be shown as a worldwide preview at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
